MegaRail Manually-Controlled Mass Transit Train
Now available, manually-controlled, coupled train MegaRail Mass Transit
offers very high capacity urban rail mass transit that far exceeds light
rail capacity but at significantly lower cost and time to service. The
30-passenger air-conditioned cars feature stand-up cabin height and provide
for 53% seated passengers. The self-propelled coaches run on rubber tires
that roll on continuous steel rail surface that are located inside enclose
rail tubes for all-weather operation. Passengers are assured a
vibration-free, very low noise ride. The low-profile, stainless-steel guideway
resembles a pair of small monorails and is always elevated over existent
street and freeway rights-of-way. As a general rule, no additional
right-of-way is required for MegaRail Mass Transit system installation.

MegaRail Commuter Rail Manually-Controlled Train
Small 16-passenger coaches are mechanically coupled into short train sets
with an operator in the lead car. This type of initial service enables MegaRail
to provide high capacity urban transit service in the very near term without
waiting for full testing and qualification of the advanced, individual car
automated control systems. Initial service can be provided within 30 months
using this mode with virtually zero technical and schedule risk because
operation is similar tocurrent manual train operation. Safety and capacity are
increased over that of light rail or monorail by use of the unique MegaRail
capability to precisely measure train position on a continuous basis using
simple sensors and references located inside the patented enclosed guideway
rails. MegaRail line capacity using train sets exceeds capacity of light
rail systems.

All Urban Transport cars feature fast and easy step-in and sit entry and step-out exit for short station dwell time.
